The Surinamese police have arrested three people after an argument that got out of hand last Friday, where 29-year-old Valentino Cederburg (photo) was killed by a gunshot injury. The Suriname Police Corps has just reported this.
Law officers of the Munder police station and the RBTP responded to a report from the Command Center located on Peperboomstraat in the area known as ‘Texas’ on Friday afternoon, March 26. a shooting incident had occurred.
Upon arrival at the location, it turned out to be a protracted argument between brothers and a local resident, which had gotten out of hand. The two brothers suffered gunshot injuries and the shooter and the suspected RS sustained stab injuries.
Both parties visited the Emergency Department of the University Hospital on their own initiative, whereby Valentino died shortly after arriving at the A&E due to the injury sustained. His younger brother UC (19), who also suffered a gunshot injury to his chest, needed urgent surgery as a result of a collapsed lung.
The shooter DM sustained stab injuries to his back and shoulder blade. Both the younger brother UC and the gunman DM have been admitted to the hospital under police surveillance. The other suspect RS suffered a deep wound on his arm and also had to be treated medically.
Three suspects, of whom RS (17), DM (33) and UC (19) have been arrested in this case.
The lifeless body of Valentino Cederburg was seized for autopsy after consultation with the Surinamese Public Prosecution Service, while the three suspects DM, UC and RS have been arrested. The investigation in this case has been transferred to the Capital Offenses Department reports the police.
