An arrest squad Wednesday night arrested an 18-year-old man suspected of a string of armed robberies, in which shots were fired each time. Petrol stations and a tobacconist’s shop in Roosendaal have been targeted in recent weeks. The police traced the man thanks to reports that arrived after the broadcasts of Bureau Brabant and Opsporing Requested.
The man lives in Roosendaal, but a team of arrests took him in the evening in a house where he did not live.

The robber struck at least three times in the city. He always did it early in the evening, between six and eight.
- The series kicked off on Wednesday 16 November in a Kroevenlaan tobacco shop.
- A petrol station on the Vijfhuizenberg was targeted on Monday, November 21st.
- The last of the series was a service station on the Antwerppseweg on Saturday 26 November.
Shot in all three robberies. The police always found remains of bullets. The question is whether the man always fired on purpose. In at least one of those moments, the gun appears to go off accidentally. His booty consisted of money and cigarettes.
