In the evening hours of this Sunday, March 14, the comedian Alejandro Riaño reported threats against him and his family.
The outrageous comments were directed specifically at her newborn twins.

Riaño, who is known for the political satire he does with his character ‘Juanpis González’, published a message in which a Twitter user explicitly threatened him.
Riaño clarified that it is not the first intimidating message he leaves her.

After receiving a positive response from his followers on social media, the comedian used his Instagram stories to to thank for that support.
He also said that denounced to the person involved before the Prosecutor’s Office and the Sijín, authorities that are working on the case.

Riaño explained that the threats have been presented since long ago. This, unfortunately, is not a secret, because in his interviews as Juanpis González in ‘The Juanpis live show‘usually refers to these messages.

To confront them, the comedian had to improve his security scheme and clarified to his detractors that these expenses are not covered by the State, but rather he pays for them himself.

Now, for those who wonder what will happen to Alejandro Riaño’s activism, he said about it: “This was a decision I made a long time ago. I sat down and discussed it with my wife and everyone in the office and we will continue to raise our voices, we will not shut up”.

Riaño invited his followers to think if, in reality, it is worth it fight over political issues. “It would be interesting for us to sit down, stop for a moment and see the current situation in the country and begin to think if it is worth fighting among ourselves when it is they (the politicians) who must watch over our rights and take care of us.”
The comedian closed with a phrase that, he said, he read recently: “QWhat paradox is that they threaten you for defending your life”.
