In Munich, the police arrested a Bundeswehr soldier in the evening who had made massive threats in a video because of the compulsory vaccination. The Department of Defense is examining the clip.
A Bundeswehr soldier who had made threats against the state in a video on the Internet was arrested in the evening on Odeonsplatz in Munich.
The Bundeswehr soldier is suspected of having “publicly called for criminal acts,” said a police spokesman. The further processing lies with the police headquarters of Upper Bavaria South. Detective officers from there picked him up that evening.
The police were on duty with a dozen team vans on Odeonsplatz in the evening after several thousand critics of the Corona policy demonstrated on Wednesday despite the ban. There was no meeting there on Thursday.
“Unacceptable Threats”
In the video clip, which is about a minute long, the man who calls himself a sergeant major demands, among other things, the withdrawal of the state corona measures and the compulsory vaccination for nurses and soldiers. “This is a warning,” he said. In the text accompanying the video it says: “The soldiers are ready for a dialogue by 4:00 p.m. tomorrow.”
“Threats against the rule of law, which are unacceptable” called the Federal Defense Ministry the statements. When asked, a spokesman for the Ministry of Defense said “the facts and possible consequences are already being examined”. The ministry initially did not provide any further information – with reference to legal reasons.
Call to “fight”
The right-wing extremism and social media expert Josef Holnburger points out on Twitter that the man was no stranger to the scene and had already become conspicuous before: He had called for violence and “fight” in open letters. In another video, which is said to be from Wednesday, the same man can apparently be seen talking about “corpses that are scattered in fields” at an event, possibly referring to government officials.
