KOMPAS.com – One mother with the initials SM (52) in Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir Regency ( PALI) ran scared to the Talang Ubi Police because he was pointing a homemade gun and was about to raped his own biological child, RT (34).
Not only that, according to the police, the perpetrator had the heart to shoot the victim who was running afraid to save himself.
“Even when the victim ran away, the perpetrator shot but missed,” said Pali Police Chief AKBP Yudhi Suharyadi, Monday (10/8/2020).
After receiving the victim’s report, the officers immediately moved to the victim’s house and arrested the perpetrator.
At that time, the perpetrator had to paralyze his legs with hot lead belonging to the officers because he resisted when he was arrested.
“Our perpetrator was paralyzed by a shot in the leg for trying to fight back. He was about to rape his own biological mother. The suspicion was because he was influenced by drugs,” said Yudhi.

After being arrested, RT was immediately brought to the police station for further investigation.
RT admitted that he bought the homemade gun for Rp. 400,000.
“The perpetrator said it was only to protect himself, but we will further explore what this weapon will do,” said Yudhi.

The motive for the perpetrator of mugging and allegedly trying to rape his biological mother is still being investigated.
However, for his actions the perpetrator was subject to Article 1 paragraph 1 of the Emergency Law number 12 of 1951 concerning possession of firearms, as well as Article 285 of the Criminal Code concerning attempted rape with the threat of imprisonment of more than 10 years.
