The first rays of the first July sun were greeted by thousands on the beach – from Kamen Bryag to Ahtopol.
In Bulgaria, July Morning became part of the hippie movement in the 1970s. For many, welcoming the sunrise is a symbol of purification and a new beginning.
The central and northern beaches in Burgas were filled with thousands of people who welcomed July Morning. Half of them were in the water and the others on the sand, where the party has been going on since last night, Burgas Info reported.

The good weather and the warm sea water made the experience unique. Some preferred to wait on the sand in tents and by the fire, listening to good music, others came just for the moment they were watching from the bridge.
The sunrise was greeted with the song of the same name by “Uraya Heep”.
Hundreds of people have gathered on Kamen Bryag since last night, waiting for the first rays of the sun to the sounds of rock music.

“The sun is a symbol of warmth, energy, positivism. A huge amount of energy is gathered, it’s magic,” said one visitor to the event this year.
