“Fortunately, we have had a great response to protect the smallest of the household, and with the arrival of this shipment that arrived in Baja California this Friday, we will continue on Saturday with flexible hours for parents,” said the state official.
He indicated that in recent days it has been possible to apply just over 90 thousand doses of the biological in this child population, and emphasized the importance of promoting self-care and the application of the vaccine in children, as well as seeking reinforcement for adults. and teenagers.
“It is the most effective method to continue with a favorable outlook, with active cases that fortunately do not worsen because we have the majority of the population protected and we hope to continue on that path,” he asserted.
Medina Amarillas explained that at the moment the girls and boys of Baja California have not registered adverse reactions due to the available pediatric dose, which “is safe and endorsed worldwide.”
Finally, Medina Amarillas invited citizens to remain attentive to the announcements that are published daily on the official networks of the Ministry of Health and the media, recalling that the reinforcement of the vaccine for adults and adolescents continues to be available in health centers.
The vaccination site for this Saturday in Mexicali will be installed at the Santa Isabel Health Center, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in pedestrian mode, located at Calle del Sol, 21139 Santa Isabel.
