Tasikmalaya News, (harapanrakyat.com), – Thousands of students and female students at the Al Idrisiyyah Islamic boarding school, Cisayong, Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java, returned to stay after the Eid holidays and school holidays.
The pesantren was also forced to tighten health protocols by assigning an antigen swab pickup and mandatory to all of its students to minimize the spread of Covid-19, Thursday (3/6/2021).
By calendar boarding school in June they start their new school year.
Nurazis Rahmatuloh, the committee for picking up students from Al Idrisiyyah Tasikmalaya said, as many as 1,200 students were divided into two pick-up stages.
In the first stage, 500 students from outside Priangan Timur such as Bandung, Bekasi, Bogor and Jakarta were picked up last Wednesday.
“While the rest are from nearby areas today,” said Nurazis.
To minimize the transmission of Covid-1, he continued, the committee deliberately tightened health protocols by sterilizing pick-up vehicles.
“Even so, when students come to the Islamic boarding school, all students are required to do an antigen swab,” he explained.
If there are students who are reactive to Covid-19, the pesantren itself has prepared a special isolation room before joining other students.
