video shows thousands of people storming a mountain in droves
Congo . They dug with shovels, other tools, and even bare hands in the mountain because they found a lot of gold ore.

The video is from the Democratic Republic of the African Congo. After news of gold being extracted from the Congo mountains spread in the area, thousands of people rushed to the mountains and started a treasure hunt.

The video was shared on Twitter by a user named Ahmad Algohbary. “A video from the Republic of the Congo documents the biggest shock for some of the villagers in this country, when an entire mountain filled with gold was found !,” Algohbary wrote while sharing the video. kalingatv.com, Friday (12/3/2021).

“They dig the ground in the gold pile and take it to their homes to wash the dirt and pick up gold,” continued Algohbary.
In another video shared by Algohbary, locals can be seen washing dirt from gold and extracting precious metals in containers.
This crazy gold rush phenomenon led the government to impose a ban on mining activities on the mountain.
