Thousands of people enjoyed the third edition of the San Antonio Book and Reading Festival 2024 over four days. The event offered the community, and especially the children and young people of the commune, a great cultural celebration that delighted everyone.
At the close of this successful event, Chilean singer, troubadour and composer Manuel García performed a review of his hit songs and also performed some of his new songs in front of a large audience.
Mayor Constanza Lizana was present at each event and said, “We are extremely pleased to launch this festival for the third time, to have been able to deliver a tremendous program to the community of San Antonio and the entire province, but above all to make progress in generating a celebration for San Antonio through arts, culture and reading.”
The festival offered various workshops, a literary fair, talks and a variety of events such as the Lambe Lambe Theater and the acclaimed performance of singer and rapper Bronko Yotte.
Added to these were the successful performances of the play La Remolienda and the acclaimed animated film El Niño y la Garza, which filled the Civita Aranda hall with attendees, as well as the well-deserved recognition given to the poet and professor from San Antonio, Florencia Smiths.
The Municipality of San Antonio thanked all those who were part of this successful festival and invites the community to continue to learn about upcoming cultural activities that will be taking place.
