Eddie Howe speculation on Celtic grows more intense by the day, and a new online poll shows fans of the Parkhead club are in favor of the move.
While there has been no concrete evidence to suggest Howe is on the way, rumors continue to circulate on social media and in WhatsApp messages, with many now convinced that English has lined up as Neil Lennon’s replacement.
The protests calling for Lennon’s departure began in November following a 2-0 loss to Ross County at Celtic Park, and the former midfielder has presided over a six-game win streak in 20 games.

In a season that was expected to end in 10 straight games, the champions are now 21 points behind Steven Gerrard’s Rangers team in the title race.
Howe, 43, is currently without a club, having left Bournemouth by mutual consent in August 2020.
He led Cherrie to the English Premier League in 2015 and kept it for five seasons before being relegated in 2019/20.
In an hour-long poll on Twitter, 4,627 Celtic fans were asked to choose who they wanted to coach.
They were given a choice between Lennon, Howe and former Parkhead boss O’Neill, with an “Other” option available to fans who had alternative suggestions.

As reported by the Scottish Sun, Howe is currently the favorite among bookmakers, and O’Neill is second.
Hibs manager Jack Ross is third, with Slaven Bilic and Roy Keane fourth and fifth respectively.
55.8% of fans chose Howe, and only 20.8% wanted Lennon to stay at work.
Despite having won three league titles during his time as coach, O’Neill received only 10.4% of the vote.
13% came up with other options, the most popular of which was former RB Leipzig boss Ralf Rangnick.
