Melbourne

Thousands of demonstrators gathered in various major cities in Australia to refuse vaccination corona virus (COVID-19). Counter-protests in support of health protocol measures in Australia were also held separately.

As reported AFP, Saturday (20/11/2021), Australia’s Corona vaccination program is voluntary and highly successful, with nearly 85 per cent of the population aged 16 and over in the country having been fully vaccinated against Corona. Even life has returned to relatively normal for those who have been vaccinated.

But the demonstrators who staged demonstrations on Saturday (20/11) local time in various major cities in Australia opposed the mandatory Corona vaccine, which is not universally applicable and only targets certain professions by the authorities of each state.

Of Melbourne, located in the state of Victoria, crowds of thousands called for the state’s leader, Daniel Andrews, to be sent to prison. They also voiced anger over the controversial proposed new powers during the pandemic.

To in Sydney, which is located in the state of New South Wales, local police said about 10,000 people had gathered to protest against the Corona vaccination.

While views on vaccinations in Sydney tend to vary, the presence of anti-vaccination views and shadowy conspiracies is frequently echoed by speakers and conveyed in many signs.

“In Australia where a cult of fanatics runs our health bureaucracy, they say it’s okay (to vaccinate children),” right-wing federal politician Craig Kelly told a crowd of demonstrators in Sydney.

Kelly, who is a member of parliament in Canberra, is known to regularly spread misinformation and conspiracy theories about the Corona pandemic.
