The vulnerability of modern technology to computer systems has been shown in the night of Tuesday to Wednesday in Strasbourg. Although 43 vehicles and 101 firefighters set off almost immediately to extinguish the flames, the four-storey building was practically reduced to ashes, and the side building was badly damaged. Thousands of people and companies have lost their data because of this, the AFP agency said.
