The Corona regulation was often disregarded, said a police spokesman. According to estimates by the police, more than 4,000 people are said to have been on the road in the entire St. Pauli and Schanzenviertel area. “A lot of alcohol was drunk and there were numerous violations of corona requirements,” said the spokesman.

On the piazza on the shoulder blade and in the streets of the Schanzenviertel, around 2,500 people visited the outdoor restaurants or gathered in small groups on the streets. The police counted around 400 people on Paul-Rosen-Straße at Brunnenhof, 600 on Wohlwillstraße between Paulinenplatz and Grüner Jäger, 250 at Lattenplatz, 250 in Florapark and 700 on Wohlersallee.
