EAround 8,000 people took part in two separate raves in Vendée and Hérault on Sunday, we learned from the prefectures of these two departments.
On the largest, which brought together some 5,000 revelers on Sunday, there were only 3,000 left on Sunday evening on an industrial wasteland near the airport in La Roche-Sur-Yon, according to the Vendée prefecture.
At 8:30 p.m. Sunday evening, “we counted 20 rescues” including “five evacuations to the La Roche-sur-Yon hospital center”, according to the press release from the Vendée prefecture which specifies that “no serious case n should be noted”.
Further south, in Hérault, another rave party, bringing together around 3,000 people, has been organized since Friday on the Causse d’Aumelas, a plateau located between the municipalities of Aumelas and Villeveyrac, said the prefecture.
Installed in the middle of nature, this “illegal gathering does not generate any direct nuisance on the residents”, she however specified.
A prefectural decree published on April 28 had prohibited throughout the department of Hérault, from Friday to Monday May 1, “festive gatherings of a musical nature other than those legally declared or authorized”.
