From the early hours of the morning, thousands of Dominicans began to fill the entire Sixth Avenue in New York to participate in the New York Dominican Parade.
This year with a special addition: the presence of the President of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader, who since his arrival on Friday in New York City, actively participated in all activities related to this activity.
Showy troupes, music, people dancing in the street, costumes and people shouting “four more years” were part of the atmosphere that was felt in the street.

The Dominicans braved the high temperatures and children, adults, the elderly and people in wheelchairs posed with their tricolor flags in their hands.
“Happy and glad. I am here early to be able to witness the participation of the president who will walk with us for the first time,” said Jacinta Díaz, when questioned by Diario Libre.
The parade began at 2:00 pm, one hour later than expected, and was attended by artists and personalities from the Dominican Republic.
