Long queues at the border of Belarus with the EU countries

Alexander Lukashenko threatened the European Union to restrict transport transit in the event of new sanctions.

More than 1,030 trucks are expected to leave at the border of Belarus with the countries of the European Union. This Friday morning, July 9th, is evidenced by the data Online State Border Committee of Belarus.

Thus, more than 90 trucks have accumulated on the Belarusian-Latvian border in front of the Grigorovshchina checkpoint, and more than 110 in Urbany.

More than 100 heavy trucks await entry to Lithuania before the Vidzy checkpoint, Kotlovka – 150, Kamenny Log – more than 250, Benyakoni – more than 220, Privalka – more than 110.

At the same time, there are no queues on the Polish direction at the moment.

Earlier this week, Alexander Lukashenko threatened the EU to restrict transport transit in case of new sanctions. According to him, Belarus is still behaving “humanly” in terms of transit, but in case of new sanctions, the transport will “go around the North Pole.”

Also Lukashenka threatened not to accept planes from Ukraine… Closing flights to Belarus and banning the use of Ukraine’s airspace is a disgusting act, he said.
