A 15-year-old teenager was diagnosed by a doctor with long symptoms of COVID-19. Upon further examination, it turned out that he had a brain tumor.
The teenager, Kane Allcock, initially experienced symptoms of persistent headaches after testing positive for COVID-19. Kane’s mother, Nicki, also revealed to doctors that her son might have migraines linked to the coronavirus. Therefore, doctors immediately prescribe painkillers for the complained of conditions.
Unfortunately the treatment did not produce results. Kane’s headache symptoms worsened, making it difficult for him to walk. Eventually, he underwent an MRI brain scan which revealed he had a large tumor that required surgery.

Fortunately, the surgeon who treated the teenager managed to remove the tumor lodged in his brain.
“I knew something was wrong. Kane was always holding his head because of the pain and difficulty walking,” his mother was quoted as saying by the Express.
“They did some blood tests and gave him oxygen and IV pain reliever. The message I received was that he still has migraines.”
For information, persistent headaches are a common symptom of COVID-19, including long COVID, according to the National Health Service. However, headaches can also be a symptom of a brain tumor.
