For the second day in a row, Russia has launched intense missile strikes on Ukraine’s infrastructure, which could mean that the aggressor country is preparing some kind of large-scale attack on the front. This was stated by the adviser to the head of the President’s Office Alexey Arestovich in interview Mark Feigin on the results of May 4th.

The adviser to the head of the Presidential Office stressed that the massive missile strikes that the Russian invaders inflict on Ukraine for the second day in a row are aimed at strategic infrastructure facilities.

“This is a clear increase in attempts to influence infrastructure, and first of all, power plants, which allow organizing railway traffic,” he said.

According to Arestovich, the Russians see a real threat in the supply of weapons from the West and are very actively trying to disrupt them.

“In all of science, the most intense fire occurs immediately before an attack. It is quite possible that they have planned some kind of dirty trick, and they are trying to concentrate some forces somewhere and throw them somewhere,” he said.

According to the adviser to the head of the OP, the activity of Russian rocket attacks may mean that they will once again try to strengthen the second phase of their offensive in Ukraine – in the east and south.

“Because attacks on infrastructure, and on a strategic scale, mean only an attempt to do something big and ugly,” Arestovich said.

  • On the evening of May 3, Russian strategic bombers from the Caspian region inflicted missile attack throughout the territory of Ukraine. About 18 cruise missiles were fired.
  • On the evening of May 4, the Russian invaders fired again missiles Ukrainian cities.
