Also, three new infected people were registered in Riga and Olaine region last day, but another resident fell ill in Daugavpils.
Thus, there are currently 66 Covid-19 infected residents in Riga, nine in Olaine region, eight in Daugavpils, and one in Ventspils and Saldus region.
Three patients are between 20 and 29 years old, two – between 50 and 59 years old. One child under the age of nine is also ill, and one patient is in the age groups from ten to 19 years, from 30 to 39 years and from 40 to 49 years.
Nine new infections have already been reported during the last 24 hours of Covid-19 testing in 1964, and two patients were hospitalized, according to data compiled by the SPC.
The information available to the SPKC shows that seven patients are the contact persons for previously ill people, but for two people the source of infection is specified.
In Latvia, a total of 262,662 examinations were performed, 1,425 persons became ill, and 1,187 recovered. To date, 35 people have been confirmed to have been infected with Covid-19.
