Those evicted in the fire of a building on the Cuesta Piedra are still unable to return to their homes | Radio Club Tenerife

All families who had to be evicted from two buildings on Cuesta Piedra; In Santa Cruz de Tenerife, early Saturday morning due to a fire on the top floor of one of the buildings, they continue to be unable to return to their homes.

Tenerife City Council sources have confirmed to Radio Club Tenerife of Cadena SER that, except for one family with minors in charge and who are staying in a pension, the rest remain in family homes, and a woman injured in the fire is still admitted.

The event occurred at dawn on Saturday hen the 112 operating room received an alert informing that a fire had started on the ninth floor of a Divina Pastora building, so Cecoes immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.

Two medicalized ambulances and six basic life support ambulances were moved to the scene of the incident.
Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), members of the Firefighters Consortium, Local Police, National Police and members of Civil Protection.

SUC personnel assisted all the wounded, some of whom presented poisoning due to smoke inhalation at the initial moment of assistance and others, first degree burns.
