Riyadh: Saudi citizens can perform Umrah on individual visas that allow them to bring foreigners of their choice into the country as guests, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced. For Saudi nationals, the validity period is 90 days for a single visa and one year for a multiple-entry visa. Citizens can apply for more than one individual visa at the same time.
Visitors can enter the country more than once during the visa period. Those with multiple visas must leave the country and return 90 days after entering the country. Individual visa holders can worship and visit the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina and travel anywhere in the country including historical sites and tourist attractions.
