Antwerp –
The Flemish government and the city of Antwerp are jointly making 67 million euros available for the renovation of the Bourla Theater. It must become a contemporary theater, with respect for the heritage. The building is awaiting a thorough makeover. To this end, the theater will close its doors for a season and a half, in 2025-2026. The reopening is planned for 2026.
