Thorir Hergeirsson – Explains the deal:

When Dagbladet asked Thorir Hergeirsson about the criticisms the Danish team received after their sensational defeat in the opening match of the European Championships in November against Slovenia, the Norwegian national team manager unleashed a small media storm.

– Young and fresh people think they can handle it all, and then they find out it wasn’t that easy. It has become part of the things you have to learn to deal with, concludes Hergeirsson on the matter.

The 58-year-old still has two years left on his contract as manager of the Norway national team. Next year, the WC awaits in Norway and Denmark, before the Olympics and the EC are scheduled for 2024. He has already started work towards the next highlights.
