Thomas Tuchel: Chelsea is tired

Chelsea advanced to the semifinals FA Cup after overthrowing Sheffield United 2-0. Manager Thomas Tuchel, so happy but also admitted that his team was tired.

This was also confirmed by the Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel. Sheffield is doing quite well.

“They pressed pretty good and a few times we lost the ball,” said Tuchel as quoted from BBC.

“Luckily we were able to win the match and get to the semifinals, that’s amazing,” he continued.

Thomas Tuchel already together Chelsea in 14 matches across competitions. The man from Germany was so convincing, bringing the Blues to 10 wins and four draws.

With a busy schedule, Tuchel had to rack his brain to rotate the players. Although it is undeniable, Chelsea ended up exhausted too.

“In the second half, obviously we were tired. That’s because this team has played 14 games and I also feel it,” said Tuchel.

“We also lost momentum several times, fortunately we were able to keep up clean sheet, “concluded the former PSG coach.
