AB#Thomas Gröhl has been the new Vice President Marketing at DocuWare since the beginning of the year. The manager will strengthen and expand DocuWare’s brand identity and the global marketing strategy of the provider of cloud solutions for document management and workflow automation. Gröhl is moving from Riskmethods in Munich to the IT company, which is also active in Switzerland.#/AB#Thomas Groehl has more than 20 years of experience in product marketing, brand building and demand generation. Now he should use this knowledge to increase customer and sales growth DocuWare to advance and to expand the global presence. Until the end of last year, the manager served as senior vice President Marketing at Riskmethods working in Munich. Before that, the 51-year-old worked in various positions for LogMeIn, Citrix Systems and Symantec, among others.
At the end of 2021, DocuWare had around 15,000 customers worldwide. The company is active in over 100 countries, such as Switzerland. However, the local market is not looked after from its own location – the company has them in Germering in Bavaria and New Windsor/New York as well as subsidiaries in the UK, France and Spain – but via Swiss partner companies.
