After the first night, Thomas wakes up rested. “I feel like Thomas feels comfortable walking around here as himself. I don’t feel like he’s forcing anything. It’s a miracle, but Petri hasn’t been annoyed by Thomas for a moment. “We haven’t argued yet,” she tells him. “The household chores are always the moments when the irritations can surface.”
