The LSR-05 is an EV prototype that can actually run, and is equipped with advanced EV technology developed independently by THK.The design is by SNDP (SN DESIGN PLATFORM), whose CEO is former Nissan designer Shiro Nakamura. , the two companies have come together to realize a new form of mobility for the future.
“LSR-05” is a crossover 4-seater coupe developed with the keywords of “luxury, sporty design, and innovative technology,” and its body size is 4995 x 1965 x 1530 mm (length x width x height).
The platform is equipped with two 93kW (800V specification) variable flux in-wheel motors independently developed by THK at the rear and one 220kW (800V specification) motor at the front. Equipped with a four-wheel steering mechanism, active suspension, MR fluid damping force variable damper, electric brakes, etc., it achieves high-quality ride comfort and excellent handling stability.
In addition, the uniquely developed stealth seat slide system “SLES” has been adopted inside the cabin, making it possible to create a completely flat floor. In addition, the “LSR-05” expresses THK’s vision of new mobility for the future, including the adoption of a contactless power transfer system using the DWPT (Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer) method.
