Votes for the last election precincts were received on Monday after 6:00 a.m. morning, the results of voting abroad are still awaited, because those who voted abroad could send their ballots to embassies by mail until yesterday. Therefore, the final results of the 1st round of the LR presidential elections and the referendum will be confirmed on Sunday.

The Chairperson of the CEC presented that, comparing this referendum with the 2019 referendum, more voters participated this year and more of them spoke in favor of amending Article 12 of the Constitution. According to preliminary data, over 1.4 million people voted in the referendum. of voters, more than a million were in favor of the change, which is 57 thousand. more voters than in 2019, this difference may increase.
