Aristophanes’ “Chicken” put its own stamp on the 8th Festival
Dodonis gives another special night in the old theater.
The old theater has been filled again, to the extent that this is permitted,
showing that the people of the area in general have accepted the Festival and their thirst
for the great elders in a suitable place.
Aristophanes still teaches to show the way the person is
it can be reconciled with prudence, justice and power.
This year’s Fèis Dodoni closes with the Aristophanic work, “Plutus”.

loyalty, without self-awareness and social awareness of how it can be served
common good;

way, showing us a way to manage material goods, but always with
the interest of the City. A city with citizens who are just, honest and ethical.
Utopian Thinking? Maybe. But Aristophanes reserves the right to dream!”
