The prestigious Counter-Strike competition CS: GO Major Championships will take place this year and it will be held in Avicii arena in Stockholm. For a long time, it was uncertain whether the competition could be held here in Sweden because entry rules for people who want to compete in Sweden at the elite level did not include e-sports. It was precisely for that reason that the Dota 2 tournament, The International, could not be arranged here, but since that failure, the Government has adapted these rules, which has meant that this year’s Majors can be held in Sweden.
Around 14,000 people are expected to show up for the competition, which starts on 26 October. Ticket sales will start on September 22 and you will be able to buy the tickets here.
