This Woman Protests Being Branded Too Beautiful as a Builder

MACOMB – Autumn Westfall, a builder in Michigan, United States of America (USA), protested on social media after his abilities were questioned because his appearance was deemed too beautiful to be manual labor. She wanted to fight gender stereotypes after her presence on a building project site was deemed too charming to be taken seriously.

Autumn is indeed a builder—to be more precise, his position as a commercial construction foreman. However, she has also made a career as a model.

Through her protest on social media, the woman discussed her strange experience as a woman in a male-dominated industry.

“It’s 100% true that the privilege of being beautiful does exist and yes it’s really rude how when people find you attractive they are generally only nice to you for that reason and that reason only,” he told his 13.1K followers on TikTok .

Autumn has chosen a job with her own set of gender norms and this has given her plenty of stories to share on platform social media.
