This will be the film that will represent Spain at the 2023 Oscars

Synopsis of ‘Alcarràs’, by Carla Simón

This is the second feature film by director Carla Simón. It tells the story of the Solé family, which for generations has cultivated a large area of peach trees in the small Catalan rural town of Alcarràs. One day, the family discovers that some tractors are uprooting theirs collectedas the agreement they had with the landowner has become obsolete.
