With 19 national shows in digital format, the innovative 2021 version of the Festival Santiago Off, adding the 5 international works, both in the genre of theater and dance, will be planned for transmission through www.santiagooff.com and some for the streaming platform of Bridge Theater.
Works like The cactus flower from the author Trinidad Gonzalez, Puma Mother of Felipe Zambrano, Reminiscence, from Le Insolente Teatre o Libertad 1209, with the performance of Solange Lackington, will take center stage in formats such as dramatized video-reading, video-dance, theater by Zoom, among others, where it seeks to convey to the public the emotions and energies of the performing arts live.
From January 21 to 31, the meeting that this 2021 celebrates ten years of life will be held, Santiago Off will innovate with these digital presentations through different platforms online. In addition, in-person shows are added to the festival grill with a reduced number of people, thus respecting health regulations due to pandemic.
The face-to-face shows will be the sample Lesser Monsters, in Espacio Czechoslovakia, the work Of paper, in the Fine Arts Amphitheater and the street theater assembly, The Great Threat, in the commune of La Pintana, as well as another show to be defined in the commune of Algarrobo. Even so, This schedule is subject to any changes that occur as a result of the health emergency.

This year, the Santiago Off Foundation has decided to focus its entire panorama to the public in a mixed format: face-to-face-digital.
The different creations that will be presented during the 10 days of the festival in digital format, will be in the regions of Aysén, Los Ríos, BioBío, Magallanes, Maule and Valparaíso, in order to take the reins in cultural decentralization, holding activities with a view to incorporating various audiences that, in a different scenario, could not make visible, feel and learn from face-to-face programming.
Within the 10 cultural days there will also be training and specialization activities of the School Off 2021, which this year will be focused on Scenic Design, and the Programming Meeting, where the Stgo Off / Live EXPORT project will premiere, which seeks to position the work of national creators abroad.
