Who will be the Lorraine heroes of the 2020/2021 edition of the French Football Cup? Last year, it was Épinal (quarter-finalist) and Hombourg-Haut (32nd final) who drew the light. At the end of the fourth round played this Sunday, October 4, we can already designate five Lorraine clubs which “stand out” from the pack, five formations evolving at the departmental level which have managed the feat of reaching this level of the competition starting with AS Mouterhouse (D2), a small club located near Bitche, which acts as Petit Poucet in the Grand Est. Four groups of sixteen teams were formed for this draw, AS Mouterhouse, which will be in group D, could therefore find Sarre-Union (N3) on its way! First elements of response from 12:30 p.m.

Group A
A predominantly Champardennaise group in which Sedan (N2) will act as a scarecrow. Four Lorraine clubs are included: Villerupt-Thil (R1), Algrange (R3), JS Audunoise (D1) and Villers (R2) or Verdun (R3).

Group B
An almost exclusively Alsatian group with several national level clubs (Schiltigheim, Colmar) and a small Vosges club, Haute Moselle (Ventron) which plays in D1.

Group C
This is the Lorraine group in which we find some of the best Vosges and Moselle clubs among others. Épinal (N2), Thaon (N3), Raon-l’Etape (N3), Amnéville (N3), Jarville (R1), Vandoeuvre (R1), Gandrange (R2), Metz Esap (R2), Blainville (R2), Saint-Max (R2), Thionville ASPSF (R2), Uckange (R2) or Farébersviller (R3), Rosselange (R3), Bulgnéville (R3), ES Woippy (D1), Va de Seille (D1).

Group D
A predominantly Alsatian group (Sarre-Union in particular) with a few Moselle clubs including Saint-Avold (R1), Boulay (R1), Hombourg-Haut (R2), Valmont (R3) and AS Moutetrhouse (D2)!
