Cleaning up WhatsApp becomes easier
Is your iPhone full of all kinds of via WhatsApp forwarded funny videos, photos and gifs? You’re not the only one. WhatsApp has therefore introduced a new feature to clean up your phone storage. This is especially ideal when your iPhone is relatively low on storage. How to clean up your WhatsApp:
- To update
First of all, make sure you have the most recent version of WhatsApp on your iPhone by updating the app via the App Store. Check? Then continue with the step-by-step plan;
- Inventory
Open WhatsApp, go to ‘Settings’, choose ‘Storage and data usage’ and tap ‘Manage storage’. You will now see how much storage WhatsApp uses in total and how much space is still available;
- remove
Do you want to delete forwarded gif files, photos and / or videos? Then tap the arrow at ‘Frequently forwarded’ or ‘Larger than 5MB’ and tick which media files you want to delete. Then press the trash can icon to delete them.
