The government of Mexico City announced a series of supports for micro and small businesses, formal and non-formal restaurants, as well as some fiscal support, and also an advance in the payment of scholarships.
All the support will be delivered in January, but the call will be available as of December 23, announced the head of government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum.
These four programs were activated to support the population that was affected by the red light.

“These are added to the amount of permanent support that the government of Mexico City is giving,” Luz Elena González, secretary of Administration and Finance of the capital, announced at a conference.
Credit to micro and small businesses
The program has a budget of 500 million pesos that will be distributed in 50 thousand microcredits.
The credit will be a single amount of 10 thousand pesos, with a payment term of 24 months, with a grace period of four months.
It will have an interest rate of 0% and your payment will be monthly.

Requirements: INE, CURP, proof of address in Mexico City and business vouchers, individual obligated or obligated with official identification and vouchers, as well as electronic signature and delivery of the contract, promissory note and amortization table.
Support for restaurant workers
There will be a one-time payment of 2 thousand 200 pesos for formal and non-formal restaurant workers. The aid is contemplated for 100 thousand workers.
The Ministry of Economic Development will carry out a census of inns and small non-formal businesses, to collect information from workers so that they can access the program.
Requirements: Be a resident of CDMX, official identification, CURP, be part of the registers integrated by the Government and Economic Development ministries

Scholarship Advancement
The payment of My Beginning Scholarship and support for supplies and uniforms for all families with sons and daughters enrolled in the Public Basic Education System will be brought forward to January.
Starting next January 2, beneficiary students will receive a double deposit, as an advance of one month.
It will reach more than one million 250 thousand girls and boys and it will be done through electronic transfer.
This will be the amount that will be received by adding both supports for each student.
Preschool: 710 pesos
Primary: 790 pesos
Secondary: 830 pesos
Multiple Attention Center: 900 pesos.
Tax forgiveness
There will be a total waiver for January of the payroll tax for non-essential small businesses in the Historic Center.
It benefits the economic activities affected by the closure mainly, the restaurant and hotel sectors.
It will apply in polygons A and B of the Historic Center.
The approximate total fiscal cost for the Centro neighborhood is 20.5 million pesos.
