This was what Máxima received from her daughters on Mother’s Day

Máxima had just questioned them about practicing, singing and having fun together, and when the queen wanted to walk away, the students themselves asked questions. “Where is Alexia today?” Asked a boy, who was apparently disappointed that the middle king’s daughter had not come along.

“Alexia is at school today. She can’t do every day, like all children, but she is allowed today. Amalia is studying and Ariane is going to school tomorrow,” said the queen. The question round did not end there, because now a fellow student also took courage with a question about Mother’s Day.

Máxima took a good stand and answered extensively, because the children could also sing for their mothers next time. “They like that,” said the queen. She had had a great day, with the visits to Bourtange and Kootwijk behind her and a few more visits to go during the musical tour.
