“It was incredible to meet His Holiness and I think it is a great experience to meet someone with so much positive energy,” the minor began in the interview, which was conducted just minutes after the meeting with the Dalai Lama.
“It’s a really nice feeling to meet him and you get a lot of that positive energy. Not just like that, but once you get the positive energy I think you’re happier and it’s a little better and you smile a lot more.”
The Tibetan spiritual leader apologized for his actions through an official statement on his official website with the boy and his family “for the damage his words may have caused.”
