Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Edhy Prabowo has finished his inaugural examination today as a suspect suspicion of bribery for fry export. Edhy also looks relaxed after undergoing the examination.
Monitoring detikcom in the building NCP, Jalan Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday (26/11/2020), Edhy came out at 21:40 WIB. Edhy is seen wearing an orange vest with his hands cuffed.
Edhy then responded to questions from the media crew who questioned him regarding today’s examination. Edhy said that initially he had his health checked before undergoing the examination.
“Alhamdulillah, health check, there were a few, yes that’s usual, now I have follow it continue the inspection process, “said Edhy at the location.
Edhy said he would still undergo a series of further examinations.
Previously, the KPK named KKP Minister Edhy Prabowo as a suspect in the alleged bribery case for the export of lobster seeds. Edhy is suspected of accepting bribes related to the appointment of a lobster seed exporter.
Edhy’s alleged bribery case began with information on the receipt of money by state officials. On November 21, 2020 to November 23, 2020, the KPK again received information regarding this matter.
Construction of the case, on May 14, 2020, Edhy issued Decree Number 53 / KEP MEN-KP / 2020 concerning the Due Diligence Team for Lobster Cultivation Fisheries Business Licenses. The party who wants to become a fry exporter must fulfill the due diligence team assessment as stated in the decree.
The Due Diligence Team was led by Edhy’s Special Staff named Andreau Pribadi Misanta (APM) as the Chief Executive of the Due Diligence Team. There is also Minister Edhy’s Special Staff named Safri (SAF) as Deputy Chairperson of the Due Diligence Team.
In early October 2020, the Director of PT Dua Putra Perkasa (PT DPP) named Suharjito (SJT) came to the office of the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries to meet with SAF. PT DPPP wants to become a fry exporter. To export the fry, the conditions must go through PT Aero Citra Kargo (PT ACK). PT ACK acts as a fries ‘forwarder’ from domestic to abroad.
“During the meeting, it was discovered that to export lobster seeds only through PT ACK forwarder with a transportation fee of Rp 1,800 / head,” said Nawawi Pomolango.
