This achievement places him in a prominent position within the club, known worldwide as one of the most prestigious in international football. His statistics with Liverpool indicate that in 100 matches he has accumulated 25 goals and 12 assists. In addition, he has been champion of the League Cup on two occasions (2021-2022 and 2023-2024); of the FA Cup in his first year.

Liverpool Echo reported that the English club have set a price tag of over €80 million for Diaz’s transfer. This market value reflects the club’s intention to keep the player in their ranks unless a substantial offer arrives to tempt them into a negotiation. Despite strong rumours linking him with Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain (PSG) in the past, such speculation seems to have been put to rest.

For now, no concrete offer has reached Liverpool’s offices for Díaz to remain with the team. His role in the English team has been crucial, and his presence is highly valued by both the technical staff and his teammates.
