The 4 from Córdoba celebrated 55 years of experience on the Cosquín Folklore stage and had special guests in each of the songs they played.

Wilkins’ love for Córdoba

In the ’90s, Wilkins fell in love with Córdoba after his appearances on Telemanías, a program that was all the rage for the Audiovisión production company.

In 1993, the Puerto Rican artist, by then already living in Córdoba, decided to pay tribute to the province that housed him by making an entirely quartet album: El fuego sacred. It was in 1993. At that time he had a close relationship with La Mona Jiménez.

They traveled to Buenos Aires to record “She tricks us both.” It became a gold record. Then they presented it on Telemanías.

The Castle of Wilkins in Tanti

This castle is located in Tanti and owes its name to the performer of the song “Sopa de caracol”, who acquired the property – previously called “San Alberto” -.

Lo The particularity of this castle is that it is the only one made entirely of stone in all of Córdoba.. Its landscape includes a swamp, a stream and an incredible grove of trees, and at the entrance you can see a rock with a sword stuck into it that enhances its medieval character.
