This Was A Scary And Insane ‘Harry Potter’ Stunt According To Daniel Radcliffe

Actor Daniel Radcliffe told during a recent interview about the “most deranged” stunt he did himself. Turns out it was shot for the movie Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire.

In the fourth film in the franchise, we saw Harry take part in the very dangerous Triwizard Tournament, a tournament between three European wizarding schools. Students from the schools competed against each other in bloody dangerous assignments.

Bizarre stunt
Radcliffe was allowed to do one of the stunts himself before the recordings. It turns out that he had to fall from a roof, about ten meters high.

“They really made me do the most insane stunt I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing,” Radcliffe began.

“It was a bit like falling off a 40-foot roof. I was tied to a wire, but I was in a free fall. It was only at the end that the wire caught me. So I was really terrified. I worked with the stunt team and they said, “You can do this. Do you want to try it?” And I said yes, and went up there and was really terrified. It was one of those things that we had to do two or three times, but it was for the fourth movie. And I’ve since realized that we had really very special circumstances on had that set and that I should never do anything like that again.”
