This video will make you hate pop-up cams, indentations and openings in screens

ZTE has published material promoting the premiere of the ZTE Axon 20 5G, highlighting its most important feature – the world’s first screen without an indentation or hole for a selfie camera; there will also be no retractable mechanism. ZTE shows what the future of smartphones looks like.

Undoubtedly, there is no shortage of ManiaKs who are just looking forward to the fact that this technology of the future will become common in smartphones. Eliminating indentations or holes from almost frameless screens and retractable mechanisms is undoubtedly the goal of every manufacturer.

ZTE Axon 20 5G will be the first commercially available smartphone in the world with a selfie camera integrated into the screenas long as a manufacturer does not overtake the Chinese by surprise (as Huawei once wanted to overtake Samsung with the first smartphone with a camera hole).

ZTE has decided to release material promoting Axon 20 5G, where apart from smartphone visualization there is also a chameleon:

This cute animal eats worms that symbolize the biggest flaws in the screens of modern smartphones, i.e. indentations and holes. There are also people who are not fans of retractable mechanisms and our chameleon can also handle this (potential) drawback.

I honestly admit that ZTE encouraged me to the vision of smartphones with cameras integrated with the screen. It is true that I do not need a selfie camera very often and I would probably do without it, but probably no producer will decide to do it, so this alternative is also OK.

But the number: the specification of the first smartphone with a camera under the screen is surprising!
