The most popular beaches in France attract a lot of tourists and many people sharetheir most beautiful images on social networks.
A recent study, published by Preplybook The ranking of the most popular beaches on Instagram. The latter is based on a list of the most popular beaches in France. Based on this list, “we identified the most used French hashtag on Instagram for each of the beaches, then analyzed the number of publications associated with each hashtag,” explains Preply.
First beach in the Pays de la Loire
The top of the ranking is thus occupied by the beaches d’Omaha Beach et d’Utah Beachlocated in Normandy. The landing beaches unsurprisingly show their popularity.
A beach in Vendée features in this ranking of the 30 most popular pages on Instagram.
This is Veillon Beach, in Talmont-Saint-Hilaire. It is in fourteenth position and is the first beach in the Pays de la Loire in this ranking, just ahead of La Baule.

In search of a title
This beach of one kilometer of fine sand, acclaimed by the general public, which could also benefit from a prestigious title. With the Payré estuary, the Veillon beach constitutes the Payré estuary, candidate for the classification of “Grand site de France”.
