This UP city is in trouble because of Israel-Iran tensions! A loss could be valuable

Deer Rajput/Firozabad: The impact of the tension between Israel and Iran is also visible in Firozabad, UP’s city of glass. A sword can be seen hanging on the orders for glassware received from abroad. Glass traders are somehow busy preparing the goods and preparing to send them as soon as possible. If the tension between the two countries increases, not only will the glass orders from Firozabad be canceled but the crude oil that comes from Iran will also become expensive and this will affect the glass industry. Apart from this, the traders here are also facing the fear of loss worth crores of rupees.

Firozabad’s biggest glass businessman Hemant Aggarwal said while talking to Local 18 that the war is going on between Israel and Iran. It will affect the glass industry, as several glass products are manufactured in Firozabad which are made to order. Orders worth crores of rupees are also received from abroad which are sent by sea ship to many countries including Israel, Hamas, Iran, America. At this time, the situation between these two countries will have a direct impact on the production of Firozabad glass because if the crude oil that comes from Iran becomes expensive, the prices of the crude oil will also increase. Because of which transportation will be expensive.

Orders worth crores of rupees will be cancelled
A glass industrialist said that glass traders are using crude oil in different ways in their factories, but currently the situation is fine as orders are coming in. But the tension of the traders has also increased because if this war also starts with Israel and Hamas, the orders must be placed at the earlier prices. There will be changes and prices will increase due to canceled orders. Glass industry worth crores of rupees will be affected in one fall.

Many types of items are sent abroad, including chandeliers, glasses, bangles.
Amit Gupta, a businessman who deals in glass chandeliers in Firozabad, spoke and said that Firozabad is known abroad as Glass City as it has hundreds of products including glass glasses, glass chandeliers , cup plates made here. These products are prepared and sent to foreign countries, resulting in a trade value of rupees. Firozabad is heavily influenced by foreign trade. In such a situation, if there is a war between Israel and Iran, Firozabad may suffer a blow worth crores of rupees.
