This trend is not from July-August, but in the last 16 years: BNP’s Khairul Kabir

BNP Joint Secretary General and Narsingdi District BNP Convenor Khairul Kabir Khokon said, ‘People in the country no longer want to see Awami League in politics. The people of the country will not give the moral right to politicize the massacres. That is why many organizations have petitioned the court to ban the Awami League.

Khairul Kabir Khokon said, ‘The Chatra League has already bid farewell. Awami League will also be dismissed. This movement is not from July-August, but the movement of the past 16 years. We have been fighting for the last 16 years for the right to vote. We wanted a fair election. Sheikh Hasina would have fallen in 2014 if the Jatiya Party had not tied up with the Awami League. He remained in power for eight years because of the Jatiya Party. During the 16 years of Awami League chaos, the Jatiya Party was the accomplice of all crimes. They were the ones who maintained the Awami League government.’

He said these things at the Chinishpur Union BNP workers meeting at the grounds of Gabtali Madrasa in Narsingdi Sadar on Friday evening (November 15).

District Youth Dal President Mohsin Hossain Bidyut, Vice President Nasik Ahmed Anand and Chinishpur Union BNP President Awlad Mollah also addressed the rally.
