“It feels like I’m Harry Potter and I’m waiting for the teleportation to Hogwarts,” says Jaleesa Landveld (22) from Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel about ten minutes before she gets on the sleeper train to Prague at Rotterdam Central. “We don’t know what the train looks like inside.”

“You shouldn’t suffer from claustrophobia,” says Corrie Leuk (67), after she and her group of friends took a seat in her compartment. Walking through the aisles with two people is therefore not possible. ,,I thought it would be a new train, but everything is a bit dated”, Arnold (64) notes. Friend Edwina Plugge (64) tries to get out of bed while enjoying a glass of wine. ,,With the rocking of the train, I lie comfortably.”
