“In the region, adhesion exceeds 90 percent, as in Rancagua,” with these words the National Secretary General and President Confusam Rancagua, Marco Vargas, began the first day of mobilization of primary care officials associated with We are confused that this Wednesday the 17th and Thursday the 18th they are holding a strike throughout the national territory.
The measure – the leader explained – is carried out due to the insufficiency in carrying out negotiations with the government and the conditions faced by health workers throughout the country, which further complicates the situation, “There are officials who have been waiting Their retirement has been more than 4 years and they have not received the money and more than 30 of them have died waiting for their retirement incentive bonus and they could not retire because they died.” He added that “in addition, the user treatment bonus is canceled to improve the quality of care, but the bonus paid to the clinics is $100,000 lower than the hospitals and we are pressuring the Minister of Finance to match it.” Vargas remarked.
Likewise, the health leader added that, “another pending issue is that of security and that the anti-assault law is not made effective, because we suffer attacks every day and the directors who have the duty by law to file a complaint, they don’t do it. We have financing pending, where in Rancagua there has not been enough per capita to pay salaries or to buy medicines since December, there is no progress on all these issues.”
