The University of Guayaquil announced that this Thursday, July 15, the vaccination against COVID-19 will begin for students who were not on the front line of battle against the virus.
The inoculation will be carried out by faculties, in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health (MSP). Students will be notified of the date and time through their institutional emails.
This Thursday the 15th and Friday the 16th the students of the Pilot School of Dentistry will be vaccinated, from 08:00 to 17:00, in that area.
The university expects some 58,000 students to be immunized under this scheme.
Students who have been on the front lines of the battle against the coronavirus have already received the doses of the vaccine several weeks ago.
Phase 3 of the 9/100 vaccination plan led by the central government began this week. In these days, company workers, people between 42 and 48 years old, have been inoculated and second doses have been applied. (I)
